3 Years - How can it be? So much has changed and yet so much has stayed the same. We miss you so much Kenz. Your spirit, energy and motivation stay in the hearts of all - those who knew you so well and those who are just getting to know you. You are forever missed and forever loved. Happy 21st birthday buddy girl. 

This year we gave a grant from the Kenzie Ruston Legacy Fund to help purchase two team buses for the Bouncing Bulldogs. With the help of Matthews Buses and Matthews Mobile Media, these buses were tricked out with awesome graphics as well as the best in safety features - most notably shoulder belts for all passengers. It is so important to us that the team travel safely.

Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to Kenzie's fund. It's because of your support that we can continue to do great things in her name. 

​It has been an extremely difficult year without Kenzie.
We want to thank you all for your continued support as we work to navigate this new reality of ours.
Kenzie had so much left to do in this world, and we are left to carry on her work for her. In her spirit, we will do great things!
We are pleased to announce that because of your generosity through Kenzie’s GoFundMe page, as well as other gifts and contributions, we have given our first donation in Kenzie’s honor to support her beloved Bouncing Bulldogs jump rope team.  We are proud to say that the 2016 donation to the Bouncing Bulldogs touched many aspects of the program:

1. The Bouncing Bulldogs Outreach Program for At-Risk Boys and Girls. The donation in Kenzie’s honor helped to offset costs, enabling 62 at-risk children to participate in the 26th Annual NC Rope Skipping Workshop in November 2016. These children were given t-shirts, jump ropes, lunch, and a fun filled day of jump rope taught by the amazing International staff from NC, across the USA, Japan, France & Germany.
2. The Bouncing Bulldogs Outreach Program – Special Needs curriculum. The donation in Kenzie’s honor helped to offset costs to allow children with special needs to attend classes, summer camps, and workshops.
3. In Kenzie’s honor, a scholarship was given to assist an alumni jumper to finish their college education.
4. The donation in Kenzie’s honor will also support the purchase of a new vehicle to transport the team to their community events, as well as to connect to boys and girls who may not have the means to find transportation to the Bouncing Bulldogs gym.

This is only the beginning. We were also able to establish the Kenzie Ruston Legacy Fund, which we will continue to grow well into the future to support Kenzie’s passions: Jump Rope and Aviation.
Thank you again for the kindness, generosity, and outpouring of love for Kenzie that you have shown us. We can all be encouraged that her legacy will live on...
